As a former journalist and author, Kevin has been writing stories in one form or another for over two decades. He was a staff reporter for titles such as the Irish Sunday Mirror and Irish Daily Star Sunday before leaving Dublin to help renovate a country cottage in the foothills of the glorious Sperrin Mountains.

In 2012, released his debut book ‘Getting A Nasty Shock’, which lifted the lid on gang culture in his hometown of Bradford. But he now creates worlds destined for TV, film, theatre and radio and without doubt, this is where he belongs. Kevin’s writing has that priceless quality of making you laugh or shed a tear.

Since graduating with an MA in screenwriting from Scotland’s prestigious Screen Academy in 2017, Kevin went on to win the Northern Film School Short Script Competition with ‘God Will Judge’. His first produced screen play shown in front of several hundred people at the elegant Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds. He also made the long list of the Screenwriting Goldmine Awards with his excellent feature film script ‘Come Back Kenny’.

Kevin has been developing a number of TV pilots and worked alongside a BBC script editor for his latest creation ‘You’re Supposed To Be At Home’. In 2019, Kevin will be spending time in Los Angeles and immersing himself in the screenwriting culture of Hollywood.
