Biography


Matt studied Jazz Music at Birmingham Conservatoire and grew up performing in plays and musical theatre.

His theatre roles have included the pompous air craftsman Eric Young - Love in Privates on Parade, the part of Anthony Marston in Agatha Christie’s, ‘And Then There Were None’ and he has recently come off a run of playing King Charles II in Jessica Swayle’s Nell Gwynn at The Bob Hope Theatre.

Matt also played failed footballer turned alcoholic, Julian Winterbottom, in Scott Norveil’s new play “Sweet Dreams” and he will be taking up the role of an aspiring footballer in a new film “Kickback” by award winning director Aram Atkinson.
