Josie Surminski is an English-German actress and a graduate of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s school ArtsEd.   She has performed at various London theatres including the Bush Theatre, The Lyric, The Union and The Pleasance, with whom she is going to Edinburgh Fringe for their production of ‘Ghost Lights’.  Last Christmas she toured the UK playing Gretel in a Touring Pantomime.

Josie has been acting since the age of 8 her debut was playing Alice in Alice in Wonderland with the Earls Courtiers Theatre Company and she was a young TV presenter for the the German channel ZDF on their children’s news programme ‘KIKA LOGO’.

Her main interests are sports and music, she’s an ex-performance athlete (taekwondo black-belt, national swimmer and horse-rider) and a trained singer (diploma, most recent role being Maria in West Side Story) at the Beatrix Potter Globe.

She’s trained with NYT and Pineapple Dance Studios and has a deep love for Shakespeare and classical theatre.
