Rebecca Metcalf Cortese

Rebecca Metcalf Cortese is a multidisciplinary performer with a background in acting, writing, and dance. She holds an MA in Acting from East 15 Acting School (2023) and a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Sussex. Born and raised in Italy, where she launched her acting career, she now works primarily out of London.
She works across stage and screen, both in front of and behind the camera, and has collaborated with award-winning artists including Saul Lotzof (BFI Future Film Festival Winner 2019) and Hazal Aztekin (featured in Vogue and Marie Claire).
An experienced life model, Rebecca brings a deep understanding of the human form and the power of vulnerability to her artistic practice. In early 2025, she completed a creator’s residency with Temper Theatre, further developing her craft and vision as a performer.
She is deeply passionate about surrealist art and feminist storytelling.
