Nicole Pott is a writer & director and has worked on a variety of films not only of her own but also those of other writers.
Over the last few years, she has been particularly successful with directing various short films, including KALEIDOSCOPE (2019) which was selected at a number of festivals including Oaxaca Film Festival, Detroit SheTown Film Festival, the British Independent Film Festival and Harrogate Film Festival. It was also selected at Film The House, and Nicole was also the only female director to be nominated for the Directors UK Best Director Over 19 award.
In 2019, she directed two short films POWERLESS (2020) and ASPHYXIATE (2020), which are both currently on the festival circuit where they have been nominated for awards. Her short film ALICE (2021) has been selected to be funded by Genera Films and is due to film in 2021.
Nicole is currently in development for her debut feature film OBSESSION, which was selected to pitch at UK Online Pitchbox as part of Filmarket Hub to BBC Films, Lionsgate, Curzon and more. She also has a number of other features in early development.
Nicole is also an author and is working on her first novel trilogy currently. She is also the festival director of the High Peak Independent Film Festival and Womxnchester Film Festival.
